Meet the Team

Accessible Dental has formed a team of qualified professionals with experience and compassion in working with individuals with disabilities.

Our team consists of dentists, anesthesiologists, oral surgeons, nurses, and dental support staff -- all of whom are familiar and dedicated to patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

ADS will offer Professional Anesthesia Services by our anethesia team, if required, as a necessary measure to ensure a complete and thorough dental examination, including any restorative services.

Dr. Pavasko graduated from The University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1988. After completing a one year General Practice Residency at Montifiore Hospital, he received a General Practice Dental Residency Certificate in 1989.  Dr. Pavasko has been in private practice since 1989, serving patients with special needs since 1996.  He has chaired and sat on Dental Advisory committees for Insurance Companies, and The Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare.  In addition to his private practice Dr. Pavasko is presently the Dental Director for Unison Health Plans, he also sits on Unison’s Medical and Dental Credentialing Committees. 

Dr. Frank Kunkel is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist. Frank did his undergraduate and Medical School at the University of Pittsburgh. After medical school and an Internal Medicine Internship he completed his Anesthesiology Residency and Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh.  Frank was chosen as Chief Resident in Anesthesiology and Chief Cardiac Anesthesia Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh while in training.  Currently Dr. Kunkel has over 20 years of clinical anesthesia experience in all fields of Anesthesia.  He has served as Chairman of Anesthesia at several Hospitals and cared for thousands of patients.  He remains active clinically as well as teaching and the administrative side of medicine.

Karen Noah is a Registered Nurse and has worked with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for 15 years. Karen currently provides oversight to all aspects of Accessible Dental Services. Her experience and passion for quality in health care translates into a positive experience for each Accessible Dental Services’ patient.

Theo Lasinski has worked in the human services field for over 33 years. For the last 23 years, she has been involved primarily in organizational quality management. She serves on the Western Region Quality Management Council and participates regularly in several statewide work groups involving quality management, regulations, HCSIS, and ISPs. Ms. Lasinski brings her wealth of knowledge and experience to the Accessible Dental Services Team by monitoring timeliness and efficiency of key customer processes. She leads customer service and satisfaction efforts by soliciting and organizing feedback from individuals, families and organizations served by Accessible Dental Services. Ms. Lasinski has a Bachelor of Science and Master of Education.

David Rumberger is the Director of Sales, Marketing and Public Relations for Accessible Dental Services. He provides leadership to the growing business by developing and executing all sales and marketing related objectives. With nearly 20 years of experience in the Human Services Industry, Mr. Rumberger provides a wealth of knowledge to the team. David's focus on business growth while providing the highest level of service and operational excellence to our customers is demonstrated daily.

Eric D. Folino RPh is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and has worked in the pharmacy field with a focus on serving consumers within the Intellectual and Developmental Disability field for the past 15 years.  Mr. Folino provides oversight and management expertise to the entire pharmacy operations with service locations in Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.  Since starting with PDC Pharmacy, Mr. Folino has grown PDC Pharmacy into a notably successful operation that serves the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.  Under Eric Folino's leadership,  PDC Pharmacy has earned a reputation as being the leader in pharmaceutical services for the Human Service Industry in Pennsylvania.  Mr. Folino also provides clinical expertise to doctors and nurses at ICF/MR facilities throughout Pennsylvania by performing Drug Regimen Reviews to improve and enhance compliance and effectiveness of medication therapies.  Mr. Folino has also presented at numerous conferences in Pennsylvania and New Jersey on topics current in the Pharmacy Industry.
